Never 11

Most bands it seems claim they were formed due to clichéd reasons such as creative desire, luck or simply by accident. Some even go as far as to suggest that it was written in the stars, But Never 11 was born during March 2003 due to boredom and at least one night away from their respective girlfriends.

Hailing from the hamlet of Kinver in the West Midlands, This five piece rock outfit have tried and failed with many attempts to make a band successful due to reasons such as creative desire, luck, accidents or simply that it wasn’t written in the stars. But this time they firmly believe they’ve got it right.

Blending powerful guitar riffs with tuneful melodies, Never 11 have begun to build up a faithful following in and around their area .Their influences range from 90`s indie bands to nu-metal and back to classic rock (although stead’s liking for slipknot is getting worrying) and there is a vibe around their live performances that suggest they could be here to stay .Their recent pictorial debut in the local music press created widespread feeling that it’s an advantage that the songs are good , as they are certainly not going to make it on their looks.

After changing their drummer six months into their band life because of an unprompted and violent stick-throwing incident at the singer, Never 11 replaced him with the bass player’s brother and now consists of singer Andi Stead, guitarists Ben Parrott and Marcus Pagett, Bass player Robin Groucutt and drummer Steve Groucutt.

Their Debut CD, Inventively titled “3 Songs”, is currently available from Bob’s house although a more accessible outlet is something Never 11 know they really should be looking in to. Surely though given their promising start , it’s only a matter of time before Ben’s Cortina pulls into a car boot sale near you !!
